Part One presents the music of the pre-reformation masters working in England, including the recently discovered Nicholas Ludford. New College Choir has recently recorded Ludford’s music, with a CD which won the 2008 Gramophone award for early music. Part Two examines another musical renaissance in English church music, that of the last twenty or so years.
